On the way to Chiang Rai via the Kok River

Bamboo stuffed with coconut milk soaked sticky rice and red beans cooked on a charcoal fire. The charred bamboo bark is peeled off leaving a thin edible skin and sweet warm sticky rice. Super delicious!

Around Chiang Mai

Night market, Haw Mok, savory and sweet with onions and bits
of meat. It was questionalble wether this was dessert.

Night market, Haw mok, seafood in little banana leaf boats,
after they gell they get flipped to face the heat.

Around Phuket

Bangkok dusk

Patong beach, Phuket Island

Patong Beach

On the way to Phi Phi Island with a boatload of seasick queers. (with exception to Mark Davies who generously underwrote the private boat)Sean brought along a venoumous drama princess and Mark a cute dog that kept flirting with me.They brought another femmy skinny guy, I suppose for me. I growled anytime they got near. On an excursion to Monkey Beach, we disembarked. While attempting to get back on board, Sean and I sliced our feet on the coral reef and bled all over the boat. I think the captain of the speedboat enjoyed our misfortune, he aimed at every oncoming wave possible in the choppy sea. Sean had to go off on a modped to get stiches while the gay entourage waited by a lovely seaside restaurant nibbling on fantastic Thai snacks including the fabulous Phuket style Haw Mok in Banana leaf.

Phi Phi Island

The infamous Monkey Beach. Were boarding the boat was nearly fatal.
